MOVE IT! RELEASE IT! REPLENISH IT!

Take a deep breath in, scan the body, release the breath ; where in the body are you holding on to something that is no longer serving you?
Take that breath to the back of your heart and ask what is there?   Identify the toxic memory or beliefs.  What happened to you?  Write the story when you heard these traits, how did they affect your life?

Sometimes we hold onto things that don't serve us.  After you have written down these traits that were from toxic memories burn them.

"Out of the ashes of pain is the potential for something to rise"  Take time to grieve, feel the pain, don't resist it, but don't wallow in it, Don't make a shrine to the past.  If the past is holding onto you-be patient, if you are holding onto it-let it go.

Everyday breathe in and say: I am peace, I am harmony, I am laughter, I am love, because that truly is who you are.

Make a Gratitude Journal, every day write down what you are thankful for.

Open your heart with camel pose, bow pose, upward dog, go to (yogajournal.com )to identify the poses.

GIVE YOUR HEART SOME BREATHING ROOM

To open the heart means you have nothing to hide, no hidden agenda,no personal motives,no deep dark secrets or negative feelings.  The heart is the sitting of emotion.
The element is air, air permeates breath so take a deep cleansing breath and completely exhale bring in these words, I AM PEACE, I AM HARMONY, I AM LAUGHTER, I AM LOVE.

If you notice that you are sitting with your head forward, shoulders rounded and your chest collapsed, give your heart some breathing space.  Love is the greatest healer.

Open Your Heart to Wholeness and Boundless Love.

Mondays are the day for giving and receiving.  This is the season of gratitude the Earth has given of her fruits and vegetables, it is a time of harmony, opening the heart to love preparing to let go. It is a time to love and be loved, to create healthy relationships.

Take a deep breath IN feel how uncomfortable it becomes when you hold onto breath (something too long) when you need to give, now exhale and feel how uncomfortable it becomes when you need to  let or receive something and you don't.  There is a balance of giving and receiving we need both to be complete and whole.

The sense is touch, reach out embrace and be embraced, the color is green, vegetables with sauces , the essential oil is rose, carnation, lily of the valley. Enjoy the gifts of the heart.

The Qualities of the Grounding chakra

Patience, structure, stability, security, these are the qualities of the first chakra.
TO FIND TRUST IN PLACE OF DESPAIR. When energy is flowing freely through this center, you have confidence that you can meet your needs without struggle.  Security is an aspect of the root chakra that helps to keep us focused and grounded. When we don't feel secure we lose energy. The root chakra anchors itself to the Earth, when we are patient, resourceful, and hopeful about our lives we remain positive and open to possibilities that will strengthen this chakra

THE LOCATION OF THIS CHAKRA IS AT THE BASE OF THE SPINE. jbmartinbodymindcoach.com

in a yoga class that i was instructing, a student could not feel her right foot anymore and was having trouble walking, at the end of class she asked me what i thought, it was her right foot which is the outside world moving forward i gave her some suggestions and asked her to fill her home with the smell of sandalwood. she informed me that she had lost the sense of smell which is the sense that goes with the grounding chakra. We worked through her issues with going forward after retirement, trusting in herself she gained back her smell and can walk easily.
I hope you enjoyed bringing in the color red, creating space in your home and lives, smelling homemade bread, cinnamon, vanilla & sandalwood.
Love, Sophie
