We can count on change

One day in San Diego; I was walking along the Beach at sunset; there were memories left from a day that had almost past. I could see where children had played in the sand making Sandcastles and trenches with sea shells. The water was washing the signs of the day away. Letting go of each day with the setting of the sun; recapitulating the memories of the day. Living in the present, is truly a gift; nothing stays the same, we can count on change; go with the flow enjoy the waves of the day; some are high; some are low, some throw you to the ground;some carry you; whichever ride your on; it will change.

What is it like to be in love?

You feel accepted and understood.
You feel seen and heard.
You feel complete, as if an invisible presence is filling you up.
You imagine that you can do anything, life has opened up to you.
You experience ecstasy in ordinary things: a glance, the touch of a hand.
You feel expanded, free.
For the first time you are not hiding from yourself, this is who you really are, your true self.
Falling in love is how real life is suppose to feel. We are peace, harmony, laughter and love. Be who you are when you are in love, that's what makes falling in love so beautiful, we see our true self for the first time. Just Be in Love.

Practice & Detachment

Thought patterns are mastered through practice and detachment.

In India they dye the cloth gold and then put it outside and expose it in the sun,  being out in the elements the cloth losses some of its color and so they bring it back inside and saturate the cloth in the gold dye again. Again the cloth is put out to dry and it loses some of its color but not as much as the first time, they repeat this process bringing the cloth in and saturating  the cloth in the gold dye and exposing  it to the elements until the cloth can withstand the elements and is bright with its  own color. Saturate and expose, go inside surrender saturate yourself, when you go outside into the world you will lose some of your gold then dip it again, saturate yourself.  With consistent practice you will see that the fruit of discipline is grace. Detachment takes practice through going inside with meditation surrender let go, repeat and in time you will see that you are gold.
